It appears the Los Angeles Lakers will be able to make a major signing when free agency begins.
Anthony Davis is waiving his $4-million trade kicker in his move to Los Angeles, league sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Davis’ decision – in conjunction with an agreement with the Washington Wizards – will leave the Lakers with $32 million in cap space this offseason, enabling them to sign a max player or divide the money up among multiple players.
