Jerry West has the honor of serving both as a Los Angeles Lakers legend and a Los Angeles Clippers executive.

So when he says he wishes the two teams could have met in the Western Conference Finals this year, it’s clear he means it.

French luxury goods group Christan Dior became the latest western company to apologize to China, over using a map that didn’t include Taiwan as part of the second-largest economy.

China claims sovereignty over Taiwan, which rules itself.

According to reports from Reuters and the BBC, Dior used a map of China excluding Taiwan during a recruitment presentation at a university. Dior apologized and said it “always respects and upholds the one China principle, strictly safeguards China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and treasures the feelings of the Chinese people.”

The magazine — featuring LBJ on the cover in his #23 gold mesh jersey titled with the words, THE CHOSEN ONE — was released on February 18, 2002 … when LeBron was 17 years old.

Now, the jersey James donned on the cover (he also wore the jersey for the majority of his junior season where he averaged 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists a game) is on the block at Goldin Auctions.
