Another first is on the horizon, the first time LeBron runs alongside Lonzo Ball.
That would be the same player that got James to exuberantly post the following on Instagram: “It’s about that time Young King. Let’s Get it, you was born for this moment!!”
Opponent: Golden State Warriors
Date: Wednesday, October 10

Ball has has yet to play in a preseason game as he continues to strengthen his left knee following July arthroscopic surgery. As NBA.com reports, however, the time has finally come to hit the floor against another team.
The second-year point guard has been playing in practices but will now get the chance to play alongside his teammates and run the offense as he comes off the bench in this preseason warm-up against the defending champs.
As far as form, James told reporters that Ball doesn’t show any signs of a guy coming off surgery.
This being an exhibition game about a week away from the real thing, I understand if you don’t share my enthusiasm. This game will neither matter in the standings or be all that memorable a couple weeks from now.
But it does salvage some drama for a concluding preseason. You can only witness a JaVale McGee alley-oop so many times after all.
While Ball will come off the bench, there is a good chance he dishes some out to LeBron. Head coach Luke Walton states Ball may get some time with various rotations, via NBA.com.
A lot of the time we spend in practice he’s been with the second unit playing against the first unit. To be able to mix and match that a little bit, have them play on the floor will be good for him.
As for how much we will see from Ball, who knows.
Luke Walton confirmed Lonzo Ball will play tomorrow, citing a range of 10-30 minutes. Walton’s minute range is typically tongue in cheek in these settings, but he’ll be out there with the second unit.

You can expect pretty much exactly what we’ve seen from a Lonzo-less club through the preseason, running and more running.
Ball spoke a bit about playing with LeBron.
We’ll be playing fast, so I’ll be getting the ball to him a lot. He can do the same. Ju
